BULK TERMINALS October 2021, Riga, Latvia

The Association of Bulk Terminal Operators’ annual BULK TERMINALS conference normally takes place in October or early November each year

We had planned to hold the next Bulk Terminals conference in Riga, Latvia early October 2020.

Unfortunately the likelihood of a second wave of covid-19, reinforced by the feedback from potential key speakers and past delegates indicates that it would be advisable to postpone the conference until next year. The first part of next year is likely to  be very crowded with postponed 2020 events so we have taken the decision to hold the next Bulk Terminals Conference October 2021 in Riga – dates to be decided.

With a full programme focused on the concerns of operators, each year the ABTO Bulk Terminals conference offers sound practical solutions for improving safety, streamlining operations and ensuring environmental protection – as well as a market analysis and development opportunities. Autonomous operations and digitalisation have been raised as subjects of interest. Naturally, the next conference will consider the impact of covid-19 on bulk terminals.

Given the importance to Latvian and Baltic ports of transit cargoes, rail and transport connectivity will also be covered Bulk Terminals in 2021, at the Freeport of Riga Authority's conference venue.

Bulk Terminals 2021 – the only event all those concerned with the bulk terminals industry need to attend.

For speaking and sponsorship opportunities, or to register an interest in attending in Bulk Terminals 2021, Riga please contact Simon Gutteridge +33 (0)3 21 47 72 19.
